Sure, positive thinking is all well and good, but that's unfortunately no guarantee that you'll be able to do what you want to do. Still, it's certainly much better than despairing and just giving up, so there's that. Probably important to note that while our Anna certainly is a prodigy, and while she certainly can take care of herself, her skills are only impressive for her age. Any other high journeyman could do what she does, it's just that most who reach the high journeyman rank are in their late 20s, maybe early 30s.

So, think of it like those kids you sometimes see on TV who can do really complicated mathematical problems. It's certainly impressive, and it'll be really great to see what the kid gets up to in later years. But the feat in of itself isn't all that spectacular, as any adult can probably do long division and the sort. It's just that the kid can do long division while others his age are still sucking on their thumbs.

Point is, it's the same for Anna. Really great that she can do it at that age, but doesn't by any stretch make her all-powerful. Still has some limitations, such as the above inability to heal more serious things like broken bones. And while she's certainly capable of taking out a couple of bandits, a more experienced veteran who's fought against magic users in the past would have ways of dealing with her.

Nicely put, and I appreciate that Anna is not another all-powerful child hero that seems to be the rage these days. If I have to endure another knowitall teenage Mary Sue superhero (e.g. Whatsherface from the new Star Wars) it will be too soon.

Oh no! I uploaded the pages in the wrong order! Sorry about that, I'm going to have to shuffle things around. Apologies.

Check out other great comics!
