This is another one of those pages that makes me sad. That ghost model? Spent a lot of time on it. Really loved the design as well, I felt he looked really cool. But what happens? He gets re-killed within two panels. Bummer. But don't worry, we'll be seeing more of that guy sooner or later.

As for why summoning something like that isn't master-level while healing bones is, the way I figure it, the necromancer isn't actually doing all that much other than calling up the ghost and providing it with enough energy to stay in the world. I also figure that it would be somewhat easier than creating a zombie. I see it like, if in that world, ghosts already exist, you wouldn't need to expend energy to create one. Rather, you'd call on it, and provide it just enough energy to stay. Like if you were to throw a rope to someone, they would do the climbing up themselves while you just need to make sure the rope is secure. With creating a zombie... well, when doing that, the rope analogy sort of breaks down, heh.

Cool looking ghost...but how does it hurt the living?

Probably magic of some sort, perhaps of the same sort of damage as those rays Anna fires off.

Check out other great comics!
