You know... I think I'm starting to veer a little bit away from the painterly style that I want to be able to do. In a perfect world, I'd be smart enough to figure out an ideal way to get that watercolor-y look that I want. Well, and in a perfect world, I'd also be rich enough to afford a computer that would enable me to do those effects, heh. But back to the point I was trying to make. I think I'm going a bit overboard with some of the detail levels, like they're a bit too sharp in some points. I may try dialing things back a bit, smudging some things up a little, just to avoid getting too clean-looking. Also, not entirely sure about these ray-traced shadows... I mean, I feel they look good, but I'm not sure if they really match the style I want to get. This bears some consideration and thought.

...

...and no, that was not a bear pun, as much as I would have wanted it to be one.

Oh, and the first vote incentive for March is a new model I'm working on. He's an older version of an existing character. I'm curious if he's recognizable enough though. Still very much a WIP, so definitely going to see plenty of change moving forward.

"When I grow up, I'm going to be just like you, Mr. Bear!"

What's Baugulf thinking about this encounter right now? Is he scared? Might we find out soon? But also, YOU BETTER GET RUNNING, BOY!

Heh, I really could imagine him saying that. But yeah, smart thing would be to run away.

And as we all know, fictional characters always make the smart choice ;)

Check out other great comics!
