Honestly, I would have included more skeletons, orcs, and a few goblins in that shot as well. But for a single panel that's not exactly story-critical, it seemed like it might be a bit too taxing on my computer. I really do need to upgrade. At the time of writing this, I do have a decent computer, but it's nearly a decade old. Still, the Sandy Bridge was (and is) a beast, so it's still serving me well enough for now.

I would love to get something with 8 cores though, maybe something by AMD to keep the price down (compared to Intel). I would also really, really love to get more RAM. 8 GB is good enough for most things, yeah, but as I'm rendering via CPU rather than GPU, it would be awesome to ramp that up to something like 32 GB.

Unfortunately, currently not in the budget. But still, a guy can dream, can't he?

Budgets are a bitch... my "new" laptop is about 12 years old. Still going strong... Mostly. I'd like to have home RAM but can't put more in, 16GB is the maximum.

Still, 16 is pretty good, especially on a 12-year-old machine. But yeah, one can never really have too much RAM, so more is always better. One of these days I'll do something crazy, like 64 GB, maybe after winning the lottery or something, heh.

Dammit, I lied. It has only 8GB and I can't get in more :(
(16 would be the theoretical maximum, but only with a different processor.)

Check out other great comics!
